Jacob Slade is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Milwaukee, WI. He challenges the boundaries of folk, pop, and rock to create a refreshingly honest and unique take on indie music. Drawing on influences such as Bon Iver, Nick Drake, and Phoebe Bridgers, his thoughtful lyrics and gently layered instrumentation help to create soundscapes that intrigue the listener. In Spring 2023, Jacob's song "However You May" was selected for placement on Spotify's Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Folk, and Morning Acoustic playlists helping it to reach a global audience. Jacob Slade's live performances are brought to life with an energetic 5-piece arrangement that adds Austin Wood of Blacktop on bass, Anthony Kopczynski on keys, Bailey Fiste of North Warren and Royal Mill on drums, and Jacob Olson of Hyer on guitar.
