Biography
On New Year's of 2018, Kitsune dropped his first project, ZERO, a nine-track demo tape-recorded in a closet (and yeah, it shows). Once it dropped he was hooked, releasing an additional four mixtapes by the end of the year, forming a small but tight fan base that continues to grow. After hibernating for the winter, he returned in May, publishing a new single every month for four months followed by a new mixtape, Lo-Fi Blues, a year since his last. Then, to celebrate the longest night of the year and cap off 2019, Kitsune released Void, an experimental, hour-long journey through the empty parts of his soul. Enter 2020. Faced with COVID-19 and everything that comes with it, Kitsune used the freedom and isolation that quarantine brings to create a new mixtape, Social Distancing. Later that year, he released another mixtape, Scratching the Surface, a project that he's been working on for almost two years followed by 2 new singles. 2021 started with a surprise drop, January Showers, a new single in April, August, and December. With that being said, he's just lining up the dominoes. 2022 could be the biggest year for Kitsune yet. With each release Kitsune inches closer to his full potential. His music ranges in style and substance, and his career is young and steady with much more to give. For all of you here, listening now, thank you for giving him your support.
