Biography

Mukapu Sitali (born 23 September, 2000) better known as Uchii, is a R&B/Pop singer and songwriter hailing from Lusaka, Zambia. Uchii’s raw soulful energy explores a fusion of alternative R&B and Hip Hop genres. Her music influences included; Summer Walker, Aaliyah, Tems and Lauren Hill. 
 Before releasing her debut single, Uchii first appeared on Tellemtee "Catharsis" album on a song entitled "Can I". 
 Uchii released her first song, “Nauseous”, in May 2020. In July 2020, she signed to BraveNation Music and released her single “Control”, featuring label-mate, Menace ZM. 
 The song bird further cemented her place in the industry by collaborating with Dance/Electronic Music Producer, Thiiird3ye. Their song “Save a Little Love” went on to be remixed by other Electronic Music Producers including Sebastian Dutch. 
 After a year-long hiatus from releasing music of her own, the songstress reemerged in July, 2022, with her debut EP “Honey” titled after the english translation of her name. The project is a desperate exploration of self and love through disappointing and perspective-altering experiences. The project was executively produced by frequent collaborators, Menace ZM and DuncanBeatz . It also features production and instrumental input from Benaiah and J-Hun
