Biography

Since the early 90's, Alessandro performs in Italy and abroad both as a soloist and as a member of different bands. He collaborated with artists like of Andy Sheppard, Mike Mainieri, Arild Andersen, David Murray, Steve Lacy, Lee Konitz, Steve Grossman, Peter Erskine, Dave Liebman, Palle Danielsson, Bob Sheppard, John Patitucci, Michael Moore, Kenny Wheeler, Enrico Rava, Paolo Fresu and many more. He toured extensively in Europe, Norway, Japan, China, Brazil, Mexico, India, USA, playing both in clubs and concert halls. He recorded more than 20 CDs published by VVJ, Dodicilune, Blue Gleam, Blue Note, Disk Union, Somethin' Cool, Atelier Sawano, Terashima Records. Best jazz albums of the year (Swing Journal, JP 2007), Top Jazz nominee (Musica Jazz, IT 2014), Top 100 best cd of the year (Jazzit 2014), Top 100 best jazz albums of the year (UK Vibe 2014).
