Biography
Surf Trash are a three-piece alternative-rock band comprised of brothers Andrew (drums/lead vocals) Nicholas Scott (bass) & Lachlan Jackson (guitar) Blending a melting pot of swirling driving pop Melodie’s, raw & punchy grooves mixed in with gritty washed out guitar tones that keep their sound on the edge. Since the band started in early 2018 playing local pubs, early on they focused on building their own following by hitting the road, jamming and writing in their bedroom studio which turned into their debut EP ‘Busy Doing Nothing’ released in March of 2019. The EP is a unique blend of Indie punk rock exploring topics of youthfulness and anti-establishment. Off the back of the EP and various other singles the NSW natives have amassed a fierce live following thanks to their notably charismatic & enigmatic chemistry the boys share with each other on and off the stage. Now in 2022 the lads are back continuing their exploration into the void of creating their own sound of indie rock music. The boys are back with their brand new single ‘I Might Fall In Love’ which is a noticeable shift from the band’s previous work, but one they say has happened very organically. The new track is loaded with groove & drive from the Scott brothers in the rhythm section. The track has an incredible blend of punk rock & catchy indie rock sounds, with washed out guitar tones and raw, punchy drums that lock in smoothly with the bass.
