Biography
Belize born/Brooklyn raised, and being mentored by hiphop influences such as King- Tee, Scotty D, and family Godston, Kenrick, Aziatic, and Damon (DLS), enriched J. Lewis’s passion for his music. Lew has also performed alongside various artists, which include: Elephant Man, Collie Buddz, Tanya Stephens, Wayne Wonder, Luciano, Beenie Man, Aziatic, Beres Hammond, and more. Decided to take a step back from his music, and serve his country for 8 years, 3 different wars, and totaling 3 years of overseas time including the middle East, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. Honorably discharged and is currently back on the music scene with audio engineering, and videography skills and also working on launching a brand “Chevo” with his cousin and business partner Carlos “ Los” Guity. J. Lewis’s love for the art of Hip Hop has expanded his social network extensively and has allowed him to meet, collaborate with, and share his talents with many people. Encouraged by this and the ability to express himself creatively through his music has improved his work ethic with the goal to prosper and become more involved in the music industry. With Lew’s impressive background and utilization of the Belize culture in his music, his unique style puts him on route to being Hip Hop’s newest lyrical MC.
