Biography
Geoffrey Palmer (born January 17) is an American musician and songwriter from Rochester, New Hampshire now living in Madison, WI. Best known as a founding member and songwriter for the veteran garage rock/power pop band The Connection. The Connection formed in 2010 by Geoff Palmer & Brad Marino. In the Connection, Palmer as one half of the Marino/Palmer songwriting team captured the attention of Little Steven Van Zandt, E Street Band member, and creator of the popular Sirius XM Radio Station, Little Steven's Underground Garage. Van Zandt has named many Connection songs (co-written by Palmer) as "Coolest Song in the World,” on The Underground Garage. Palmer, Brad Marino, Kurt Baker and, Kris Rodgers formed a side project called The New Trocaderos. As a teenager, Palmer played bass for the punk band The Queers. He played on the 1998 Hopeless Records release's Everything's OK and Punk Rock Confidential. Palmer played bass on the Drunken Cholos 'Livin' La Vida Loco' with the original Queers line-up (Joe, Tulu, and Wimpy). Palmer played guitar for The Nobodys. Geoff and J.J. Nobody wrote & produced the Hopeless Records release JJ Nobody And The Regulars. The Palmer penned 'Do it all again" was later recorded for the 2017 Nobody's album. Palmer formed The Guts. Palmer, with bassist Nate Doyle and drummer Rick Orcutt, recorded the classic 'Let It Go' (produced by Ben Weasel) Other bands Palmer has recorded with include: Wimpy & the Medallions & The Kurt Baker band!
