Biography
With a career spanning nearly two decades, multi-platinum recording artist Fefe Dobson is a true renaissance woman within the entertainment industry. Emerging as a pop / rock artist in the early 2000’s, Fefe stood out among her contemporaries as an edgy black female outlier. Her Platinum Certified eponymous debut album (2003) was released to critical acclaim, earning the 18 year old 4 consecutive top 10 radio singles including 'Bye Bye Boyfriend,' 'Take Me Away' and 'Don't Go (Girls & Boys)'. The album received 2 JUNO Award nominations and catapulted the young artist into international stardom as the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard HeatSeekers album charts. As an accomplished songwriter Fefe has written hits for the biggest names in pop music including Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez between releasing her follow up album 'Joy' (2010). Fefe's sophomore album was a breakout success with two platinum certified top 10 singles 'Ghost' and 'Stuttering' and the gold certified hit 'Can't Breathe,' a collaboration with legendary music producer Bob Ezrin and Orianthi. Fefe’s new single is best described as a euphoric rush of passionate love driven by the heartbeat of synth, electric guitars and emphatic drum progression. Produced by Tawgs (Walk Off The Earth, Mother Mother) and co-written by Cook Classics (Beyoncé, Ava Max), Negin Djafari (Drake, ZAYN) and Dobson herself. The new single marks the long awaited return and her first commercial music release in nearly 8 years.
