Biography

Guy LeBlanc, Mark Spénard, and Don Prince (all formerly of Delerium) hooked up with Dan Lacasse in 1980 and Nathan Mahl was the result. The group released their first album, Parallel Eccentricities, in 1983, showing off their version of progressive rock. Shortly after that release, Lacasse split with the band and was replaced by Wayne Palmer. The group worked with this formation until the next year, when they broke up. They reformed under a different lineup in 1989. Nathan Mahl worked in various formations, doing more fusion-oriented material for quite some time. They released The Clever Use of Shadows in 1999, returning to their original prog stylings. The group followed that up the next year with Heretik, Vol. 1: Body of Accusations. ~ Gary Hill, Rovi
