Biography
As classical and gospel music predominantly occupied the airwaves in his childhood home, Burose sneakily found his introduction to hip-hop and R&B at an early age. He cites Dr. Dre & Eminem's 2001 collaboration "Forgot About Dre" as one of his earliest rap memories. Additionally, Fabolous & Tamia’s 2003 slow jam “Into You” is arguably the front-runner for his first favorite love song. Now toggling between songwriting, recording, producing (alongside his in-house producer/engineer), directing, shooting, editing & independently marketing himself, Burose says he prefers a "taking the stairs over the elevator" approach to his artistry. Artists such as Bryson Tiller, Kehlani, 6lack, Nipsey Hussle, Drake, The Weeknd & Future are amongst a long list of influences Burose credits for musical inspiration. His sound draws similar elements from the likes of Iann Dior, The Kid Laroi, Trevor Daniel, A Boogie, Dominic Fike and more. Though he prefers to keep his identity off the radar, Burose doesn’t want to be hidden forever. With his musical career currently in early stages of taking off, he leaves it in the hands of his supporters to compress the time in which he can comfortably let his guard down. Currently his 2021 release “Sunday Sunsets” has garnered over 50K+ streams on Spotify. After taking some time off to perfect his craft, Burose released his latest track "Gone From Here" on November 18th with a follow up single coming in the new year.
