Biography
Shaun Jacobs is an award-winning singer and songwriter. Originally hailing from South Africa, where he received critical acclaim for several chart-topping hits, including a SAMA® (South African Music Award) for Best Adult Contemporary Album for ‘Love Can’, as well as a nomination for both Best Producer and Best Engineer, Shaun has since moved to Los Angeles, laying the groundwork for global success. Since moving to the U.S., Shaun has received recognition for his versatile sound, working alongside top songwriters all over the country. An expert at captivating audiences with his cool and bluesy undertones, Shaun co-wrote the song, “Youngr,” with Brazilian DJ Bruno Martini. The celebrated hit, which has accumulated more than 18M streams on Spotify since its launch. Following his success on this track, Shaun’s music has been featured in various brand campaigns, including BMW, XBOX, and Ralph Lauren X Bitmoji. Shaun has continued forwarding his role as an artist & singer-songwriter. In 2021, Shaun released a reimagined version of his original track, “Worry,” titled “Don’t Worry,” produced by JBroadway. Following, Shaun released “Say You Will Remember Me,” alongside a remix collab with electronic music duo Young Bombs. Recently, Shaun released his latest album 'Looking Back At Getting Here', and is thrilled to continue to share more with his audience, doubling down on what he does best: being a multi-talented creative with a deep appreciation for the evolution of music.
