Biography
LEN MULLER is a folk Composer, Singer Songwriter, mostly in Afrikaans. His music can be described as unpretentious acoustic folk with a heartfelt, rustic feel. The artist’s musical journey started after he decided to quit his day job and pursue a solo music career in 2011. He moved to Pretoria from Richards Bay and started writing his own original full time. His first EP Album, titled, Len Muller, was recorded in 2012 and self-released in the same year. Soon after he would sign his first record deal with Kanada Records distributing through Sony Music. He released his debut full studio album ''Doodgewone Avontuur' that would only be the start of a very successful career and two Ghoema (Male Artist of the Year and Newcomer of the Year) nominations as well as a Huisgenoot Tempo nomination for Newcomer of the Year. The singer’s latest release follows in the successful footsteps of his big hit, Vrede, which was also the theme song of kykNET’s star-studded (Bobby van Jaarsveld, Lea Vivier, Sandra Prinsloo, Crystal-Donna Roberts, Reynardt Slabbert and Solomon Cupido) sitcom, Mense Mense, which was aired in March 2018 and now available on Showmax. Another song 'Smag na Jou' was selected to be one of the featured sound tracks on the Afrikaans family film, Strikdas, which screened early 2014. Various of Len Muller's releases to radio topped the charts of hit parades across the country and online radio stations.
