Biography

Hey, we're Cloning, thanks for checking out our music! We write songs from Perth, Western Australia, about growing up, love, loss, failing friendships and nostalgic feelings. Three of us (Felix, Nic, Jack) have been friends since we were 13 and met during high school. We shared similar music tastes and started writing music more regularly after the sudden loss of one of our best friends. Later we met Bevan, who joined when he moved to Perth from Kalgoorlie, a regional mining city in the Goldfields, where he grew up. We've independently released 2 EPs, Pillars of Salt (2019) and Wounded Healers (2021). Our fans are amazing and bring us joy every day, with their help we’ve toured Australia twice (most recently April 2023) and sold out shows over 4000km away from home. Music has always helped us out no matter what stage of life we're in, whether it's a high or a low. We hope that our music makes you feel good in some way. Take it easy.
