Semblanzas del río Guapi is not a new name for the people immersed in marimba de chonta music, their sound is cult for those who have connected to this thriving music scene. The bambuco, juga, patacoré, currulao, cantos de boga, bunde and pasion rhythms collected in Voy pa allá, Semblanzas del río Guapi´s new record, takes you to a journey to connect with the heart and soul of the Pacific region jungles of Guapi and Limones in Cauca - Colombia, in the sound and strenght of a young band.
