    Milky Thred are a 2 piece teenage surf rock outfit from Newcastle, Australia. 
 Milky Thred consists of Riley (17) and Adrian (18). 
 Following in the footsteps of the new wave of Australian surf rock bands like Hockey Dad and Skegss, the young novos blend a mix of jangly guitars, fast tempos and driving pop melodies to create a memorable summer vibe. 
 It’s been a big couple of years for these young teens, having copped triple j airplay on their previous singles, and shared stages with bands like Hockey Dad, Tiny little houses, West Thebarton, Crocodylus and The vanns. The band just released their latest single ‘Slug’ and are set to release their debut EP later in the year.
