Hailing from Washington Heights, Diego Vega, born, Diego Alexander Vega, is currently residing in the Atlanta area. Taking control of his music career at the age of twelve he started carrying a pen and paper with him everywhere he went. He was continually influenced by his appreciation for word play, and writing was his way to express himself and story-tell. In grade school he learned how to make beats eventually making a hustle out of recording classmates' music, charging them to mix/master and sometimes make beats for them. Before long he realized music was never something that he had to chase, it was chasing him. After going off to college he would continue to write and create music, then record, mix, and master himself. This New York native possesses raw talent, and thought-provoking lyrics. His music is meaningful, and his versatile flow allows him to rap and make melodic rhythms on various styles of beats. With a customary in-home studio, his creativity is constantly coming alive, and he has the privilege of always being able to create with no limits. His current song, Spare Change is out now on all streaming platforms. The authenticity behind his voice is what makes him stand out from any other artist in his genre. This proficient rapper uses his voice in music to speak on concrete concerns and issues.
