Biography

Francesca Michielin is an Italian songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. In 2011 she won Italian X Factor, aged only 16. In 2016 Francesca was runner-up at Sanremo Festival, with Nessun Grado di Separazione (double platinum award) and represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest with a praised and evocative performance. In her career she has collaborated with the most important artists of the new Italian music scene and with her live performances she has trod the stages of the main Italian clubs and the line up of the most important festivals. Francesca has also a close connection to cinema, many of her song are included in Best-Selling Movie Soundtracks as The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she also composed her first original soundtrack for A Cup Of Coffee With Marilyn a short film selected for 2019 Festival of Cannes. She has three albums to her credit, and her latest brand new album FEAT (Stato di Natura), was released in March 2020. A 11-track-project, the result of different collaborations with the most various names in the current music scene. The album was brought throughout Italy with her tour “Spazi Sonori” (respecting all health precautions). A journey into music that continues in early December, when she announces her participation with Fedez at the Sanremo Festival. Short before the Italian song festival she also announced that an updated FEAT version will be released soon with new unexpected added collaborations as Vasco Brondi, Fedez and many others.
