Biography

Street-dancing, singer/songwriter, music creator Cassandra - whose vocal delivery can be likened to an Afropunk take on neo-soul- sings perfectly in English and in Italian. She is notable for her collaborations with Brunori Sas, Elio e le Storie tese and for her work with the alt soul band EnnieLoud. After releasing 2 albums in Italian, gigging and touring a lot, 6 years ago Cassandra moved to London where she lived, forming and fronting a dexterous trio made of the Berlin producer/DJ BeeOff and multi-instrumentalist Ross Grillo, receiving international acclaim, co-writing ‘My Faults’ with top Italian DJ Vincenzo Callea. Its video won the ‘Best Video Clip’ award at the 2018 New York City. Cassandra opened the acts for the San Francisco based band, The Seschen, touring the UK and she also shared the stages with Kadija Kamara, Arlo Parks, The Scruff. She wrote all EnnieLoud’s songs, receiving their premieres on Clash Magazine UK ( ‘In My Room’) and on EarMilk USA ( 'The best I can'). Now she is back with her solo album 'Camera Oslo' singing in Italian and English, fully recorded in an analog studio in Italy produced by Roberto Villa for L'amor mio non muore label.
