Biography

Henny Herz made her debut with “One Day One Room,” a 23-minute video EP that she produced along with Munich’s production crew Hauskonzerte. “Back Into Space,” her first full-length record, was released in October 2019 on Millaphon. On it, she develops different spaces and voices within herself through various influences—folk, soul, and jazz—and languages—English, German, and French. After an inspiring hiatus at the Baltic Sea in 2021, the artist recorded and produced her second album, withdrawn in a former tavern in the quaint Bavarian village of Obergriesbach amid church bells and rural tranquility. "Two Colors To Combine" brings together twelve snapshots, from an intimate solo piece to a punchy, rapturous band performance and combines the euphoria of a live concert and the intimacy of a private conversation.
