Extremes - from the wildest passion to the most excruciating suffocation - characterize the epic structures from which Beranger's unique sound is forged. In insane arrangements, the duo, consisting of a classical pianist and a drummer, simultaneously immerse their listeners in ice baths and make them burst into flames. For some fans of European street music, the duo are already legends: Australian Todd James and Frenchman Beranger Gras met under a bridge at Alexanderplatz in Berlin, and have been battling jointly ever since for the emotions and energy of their ever-growing audience. The combination of classical music tradition and progressive rock music always brought glamor, drama and passion to the capital's streets. And the band's success was catapulted to new heights thanks to the praise of a spontaneous audience. Now they hit the ground hard as they faced a new and challenging reality: an absolute gridlock in the culture industry, frightening social dilemmas, tensions within the duo, heartbreak in isolation - Todd James and Beranger Gras conquered the horror of uncertainty by articulating their occasional speechlessness through their very own melodic form of communication. Starting 24.09.2022, the band Beranger will be playing their first tour of Germany and Austria, and cannot wait to be reunited, to dance and headbang with live audiences spanning from indie kids to aging rockers.
