Biography

Valonkantajat (Lucifers) is a metal rock band from Uusimaa, southern Finland. It is a band whose mission is to bring light to the dwellers in darkness. No doubt about it, there is plenty of darkness in Finland even on summer when the sun barely sets for night. Valonkantajat tells about this mental darkness, melancholic stories about people and their everyday life in this northern, godforsaken country. Valonkantajat stands for catchy melodies and strong riffs combined with good lyrics, written in Finnish. No other language can describe the northern atmosphere better. Valonkantajat is currently on hold and the future of the band is uncertain. But such is life.
