Bayless has recently become the topic of much discussion. Their song, Sojourner (2021), would rise to #1 on the National Radio Chart for 8 weeks. Sojourner would be Bayless’ 3rd career #1. Their new single “Searchlights” released June 2022 & hit #1 for 5 weeks, making it their 4th career #1. They were blessed to have Justin Forshaw (also formerly of We As Human & currently of As We Ascend) mix their album Ready. Aim. Ready. Aim. has had unbelievable success with its 3 singles released to radio. No More Suffering (5 straight weeks) and Ready. Aim. (3 straight weeks) reached #1 and My Declaration reached #5 on the national radio charts. Ready. Aim. was also mastered by Robert Venable (also of As We Ascend). No More Suffering would become the #9 song of the year and Ready. Aim. #11 song of the year out of the top 100 for 2020, according to the national charting statistic on CMW. My Declaration would become the #14 song of the year out of the top 100 for 2019, according to the national charting statistics on CMW. For 2020, Bayless would be nominated and win Music Video Of The Year for their song Ready. Aim. (watch here), beating out names such as, Fit For A King, Love And Death, to name a few. For 2019, Bayless was nominated for 3 Grizzly Awards. My Declaration was nominated for Song Of The Year alongside industry staples, Skillet & Disciple & No More Suffering was nominated for Lyric Video Of The Year.
