Consistently developing his craft, the Nigerian born, US raised but currently UK based artist has created a sound that resembles a transformative potion of sonic goodness; mixing otherworldly hip hop and echoes of euphonious electronic music. By choosing the perfect musical elements and seamlessly integrating them, Ray’s productions lend themselves to an introspective listening experience that is helplessly intoxicating. After pioneering his sound in the UK, his psychedelic cocktail of trap and hip hop and sounds reminiscent of electronic genres is making waves on various continents. Having been booked across the UK, Canada and Nigeria for a number of festivals, concerts and events. Showcasing his range as an artist, New World Ray is the sole engineer of all his productions, strengthened by the onset of the pandemic as he began a journey of unexpected self-discovery. Prioritising creativity on a day-to-day basis, he was able to tap into new technical skills and his zest for collaboration. "It's hard to explain how I got into music.
