Anurag kulkarni is born into a family where one of his parents are telugu, the other being marathi! He has been singing naturally since a kid and with no influence or musicians in the family, he is the first from his family! Having huge spiritual influence in the home since childhood, he picked up abhangs of pandit Bhimsen Joshi and grew up singing them! Upon exploring and a lot of search he met his guru pandit kakunoori jangaiah, who trained him in kirana gharana! Anurag, always believed that sound is the driving force behind any song, which made him experiment with vocals always. The audience were lovely enough to accept the experiments done by him to depict diverse moods, through different genres and styles of singing! With lot of sensational youtube hits to his credit, he is one of the fastest growing vocalists in south india!
