Biography

With their bittersweet lyrics and hopeful undertones, Cookhouse is a true indie pop band. You'll recognize the Cookhouse sound by its raw, yet sensitive edge and the harmonious combo of guitar and drums - just like the brothers themselves. Ever since childhood, music has been a big part of Ronald and Jeroen Hendriksen's lives. A variety of genres were spoon-fed from day one, creating a wide range of musical influences with which they later began to work on themselves. 
 Their most recent song "Bad For My Health" is the first single of the upcoming “Start A Fire” E.P. (2022) - produced in collaboration with Robert Pronk (Sony). The songs present a more mature tone with a touch of alternative rock and bigger drums. With the new upcoming E.P., the guys have managed to capture the harsh feeling of life's ever-changing paths. This upcoming E.P. embraces the past and gives courage for the future.
