Biography

Portuguese artist HOLLY quickly made a name for himself in the world of rap & electronic touring worldwide at an impressively early stage in his career, making stops in the US, Australia, Europe, Asia, and South Africa, and being booked for the biggest global festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, and EDC Las Vegas and Korea. HOLLY has released music via UMG, Warp/Lucky Me, Mad Decent, Fool’s Gold, Dim Mak, and Monstercat. HOLLY won the first A-Trak Goldie Awards Beat Battle in 2017 and in 2021 he received a medal of honor in Portugal for representing Portuguese culture worldwide. He was one of the producers of Baauer's Grammy Nominated album “Planet’s Mad” and has also received notable features from important international outlets such as BBC, Billboard, Complex, DJ Mag, Mixmag and many more. Although immensely talented at producing stand-alone electronic beats, he has produced for numerous artists, such as Danny Brown, CL, Rich Brian, Milli, Jay Park, A$AP TyY, OG Maco, Slow J and received several multi-platinum certifications in Europe for his work. He has also collaborated with some of the biggest electronic acts such as Baauer, Boombox Cartel, TOKiMONSTA, Zeds Dead and Machinedrum. In 2020 his song “Hot 44” with Baauer was included in the new Batman film. Miguel has put together several creative projects for Cirque Du Soleil/Blue Man Group and worked on many NFTs, including a series with Gucci in 2022, being quoted by Foundation as a trendsetter in the NFT space.
