Biography

Aidyl Yatco aka Soy is a singer-songwriter and rapper based in Laguna, Philippines. He started his career in music with Soundcloud tracks and gigs at local bars in the same city. Soy has progressed to a new level recently released his label debut single “Aleleng” that gives you a simple sounding pop song but is straight-forward pleasant. He plays on the Tausug-Visayan word “Baleleng” and here promises to be forever true and caring for his darling “Aleleng.” As the rising music act continues, Soy lays down some old-school rap rhyming on his new song titled “Bituin.” Here, Soy mixes ukulele acoustics, squiggly synths and drum beats to come up with a catchy tune about hopeful wishes and stargazing dreams. Of course, as Soy opens his music for collaboration, he released an upbeat r&b-flavored track called “Pano Na To?” with one of the rising singer-rappers of Viva Records, Valfer. The collaborative track borrows its feel from melodic retro pop but coming out sonic, shining and new. Recently, the young music act Soy collaborated with another powerful Viva Records artist Jehramae as they made sweet music together on a new original song titled “Paraiso.” Singer-songwriter Soy writes and provides while powerhouse singer Jehramae provides vocal heft in this lovely sounding and upbeat pop song.
