Biography

I think the last thing I wanted to be was a songwriter. My dad and grandfather had really big careers as writers and I just wanted to do something different. But here I am. Early into my writing days I ended up at Atlantic Records writing with incredible artists and getting some cuts like "Hey Porsche" by Nelly, but I knew I wanted to be writing and performing my own material. After some experimenting I had the incredible chance to open for the legend Rick Astley on a world tour. I went from coffee shops to playing for 35,000 people at Carfest in England. It was literally the greatest time of my life. Getting to play for people is the ultimate test of material, and since then I've been feeling this massive urge to write hyper specific songs about my own life. I really believe the more specific we get about our own experience, the more people can feel it and inject their own lives into the music. Also, it's pure therapy! 
 In lieu of shows this year, my plan is to focus on writing and releasing as much material as possible from my little home studio in Highland Park, Los Angeles. I want to thank all my amazing fans and friends for the constant love and support while I try things out and express myself. I’m so excited to share everything that i’ve been working on.
