Biography

With a mutual addiction to ice cold aluminium cylinders & cheap mexican food, Fripps & Fripps debuted on Sydney's music scene around 3 years ago. With an EP under their belt, the Cronulla based band have been tucked away at Parliament Studios in Sydney recording the songs for their sophomore EP, ‘Keen For A Can’, set for release in early 2019. The last 12 months has seen some notable highs for the Cronulla 4-piece kicking off the year with a set at Mountain Sounds Festival in February, which was quickly followed by the release of their single ‘Pest Control’, the second sample from their sophomore EP. The release of ‘Pest Control' was accompanied by a 6 date tour stopping in Adelaide, Melbourne, Wollongong & Sydney with regional gigs in Katoomba & Bathurst. Aside from the tour and regular gigs in Sydney, Fripps have shared the stage with a variety of big names this year including The Psychedelic Porn Crumpets at UOW Unibar and Cosmos Midnight, Kwame & Ember at DK’s 2018 'Bar Night' in Bathurst. Fripps & Fripps will be releasing their 2nd Ep titles 'Keen For a Can' in early February.
