    Biography

    Sound of Rum were a three piece live band fronted by Kae Tempest. Based in South East London, the group gigged extensively throughout the UK and Europe between 2008 and 2011. Their debut album Balance was released on Sunday Best Recordings. Drummer Ferry Lawrenson (Dol) and guitarist Archie Marsh now form two thirds of the band Ken their work with Boss Lids Records in 2021 can be found in Boss Lids Records #theyearofthelid playlist.
