The winding dynamics that colored their journey started from changing the band name (originally called Society Threat), personnel changes (Elel, Dekwan and Astika had worked in this group), to genre expansion (from Melodic Core to Metal Melodic Core); In fact, it made Scared of Bums become more mature and more resilient in the face of tough Indonesian music competitions. Slowly but surely, the band that took the name from one of NOFX's albums, since its establishment in May 2003 until now has been successful in speaking on the Balinese music scale (also Nusantara, although not yet significantly). Invitations to the quartet who "don't want to live like bums who are afraid of the harsh realities of life" (an expansion of the meaning of "Scared of Bums") are highly in demand. You could say that in every "big" event (especially Rock music) in Bali, the name Scared of Bums must be included. The release of their debut album with the same title as the band's name, "Scared of Bums", further boosted their popularity.
