Painful by Kisses is an Indonesian rock/heavy metal band from Denpasar, Bali, formed in 2005. The band's current original line up consists of Febri Iswara (lead vocals), Donnie Hendrawan (guitar), Agung Dharmayasa (lead guitar), Tribayu Usadha (drums, vocals) and Wilson Manurung (bass) replacing Resza Sebastian (bass, 2012-2019) and Angga Triastama (bass, 2005-2012). Their musical style fuses elements of heavy metal, punk rock, hardcore, hard rock, speed metal, groove metal, ballads, and progressive rock. Influenced by many artists such as Metallica, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Helloween, Dewa 19, Black Sabbath, Van Halen, Slayer, Motorhead, Megadeth, Dream Theater, Killswitch Engage, Sick Of It All, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Guns N' Roses, The Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mr.Big. Painful by Kisses has released 4 studio albums as well as 3 full lenght (The Curse Of..., Better Brighter, Vice Versa) and 1 EP (Your Friend Can Be Your Enemy)..and also become one of the featuring bands for the compilation "CHEERS FROM ROCKET ROCKERS". 5th album 'The Revival' coming soon in 2023.
