Timbre grave, amplitude tonal, elegância nas improvisações, Augusto Martins é um carioca que soube mixar o suingue das rodas de samba com o classicismo das aulas de canto. Começou no violão, estudou piano e mantém a cadência musical com um acompanhamento pessoal do seu pandeiro. Afinou a garganta durante três anos com a professora e cultuada cantora Clara Sandroni, além de Ângela Herz, entre outros professores, o que lhe permitiu um olhar multifacetado para o que de melhor sabe fazer: cantar. With a deep timbre, wide range, and elegance in improvisation, Augusto Martins is a Brazilian singer who knows how to combine the swing of samba jam sessions with the classic technique of a trained singer. He started with the guitar, then studied piano, and keeps the musical cadence with the personal accompaniment of his tambourine. For three years, he perfected his technique with respected singer and instructor Clara Sandroni, as well as Ângela Herz and others, which gave him a multifaceted eye for what he knows best: singing.
