"The missing man of country" -BBC Daniel Antopolsky is a no longer lost legend and one of Americana's most prolific storytellers in song. Antopolsky was previously best known for being in one of Country Music's most iconic photos, but since 2015 he's released 5 albums and recorded 100s of unreleased songs based on the unique characters he's met throughout his lifetime. Daniel is also a real farmer. Renown from his early time in the 1970s playing with Townes Van Zandt, Antopolsky took a path away from the music scene, traveling the world in the 1970s, writing songs throughout and since. Antopolsky was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, then attending the University of Georgia in Athens. He returned to Georgia after his days on the road and spent the next decade farming, playing and working in his family’s hardware store. This changed when he followed a French medical student back to France where he married, raised pet chickens, pet cats, & twin daughters while continuing to write songs on his farm every evening… In 2012, Daniel was “discovered” and in 2015 he released his first album, “Sweet Lovin’ Music” which was followed by many more.
