Biography

Jeyes is an 18 year old Singaporean singer-songwriter, who is known for his acoustic bedroom pop sound. His innate musicality was made clear from the get go when he first uploaded his interpretation of 'Easy' (Mac Ayres) which garnered over 500,000 streams on Spotify, before entering the foray of singer-songwriter music. His uniquely warm and sincere boy-next-door personality has become the trademark of his sound, as he works towards creating music that not only resonates emotionally with his listeners, but expresses what they sometimes struggle to do in his music. 
 Jeyes ventured into songwriting and began performing as a solo act at charity events held in schools after he was 15, which he has been doing ever since, and has accumulated over 2M streams on Spotify alone, and being regularly playlisted on regional playlists across Southeast Asia. 
 Jeyes is your modern day multi-instrumentalist artist-producer, following in the shoes of his influences Lizzy McAlpine and Clinton Kane. Since mid-2021, Jeyes has been working on new material with producer d0my, under label PARKA. Jeyes' upcoming EP, which will contain singles to be released from September 2022 until February 2023, will showcase Jeyes further discovering his ability to turn stories into heartfelt songs while exploring sounds and textures from influences like bands Valley and The 1975. Jeyes' unique sound and innate musicality puts him on the path to being Southeast Asia’s next big singer-songwriter act.
