Biography
Black Hour is a progressive/alternative rock band founded in 2007 by guitarist Hashim Mehmood alongside his brother, drummer, Diam Mehmood in Islamabad, Pakistan. Soon after, they were joined by Tayyab Rehman on vocals and Salman Afzal on bass guitars. The band has been featured on many international forums such as WikiMetal, The Metal Archives, Unite Asia and radio channels in countries such as Brazil, Finland, Russia and Canada. The band recorded their debut album titled Age of War in 2011, followed by their second full-length album titled Sins Remain in 2015, which were both critically acclaimed. Black Hour shifted their musical lyrics from English to Urdu in 2019 when they were featured in Pepsi Battle of the Bands and released their third studio and first Urdu album titled Woh Jahan in 2021. Black Hour's music is officially distributed and licensed to Rearts Pvt. Ltd. imprint label rearts records.
