Biography

Dhool is a sufi rock band from Rawalpindi, Pakistan, consisting of Daniyal Aslam Gujjar on vocals, Mobeen Inam on drums, Shahab Khan on bass, Tahawar Ali and Usama Nasir on guitars - formed in 2016. The band is highly inspired from sufi poetry and modern rock n’ roll. The band aims to promote the “Aqwals”, the sufi sayings, in a westernised way of music. 

The group went on to release their debut EP titled Visaal-E-Yaar Qalandar in 2020, which included hits like Qalandar, Nukta followed by the release of the famed sufi kalaam Mann Atkeya in 2021. All of Dhool’s music is distributed and licensed by rearts imprint label rearts records.
