Biography
Princess Goes - vocalist, lyricist, musician, and actor Michael C. Hall (Dexter, Six Feet Under, Lazarus), drummer Peter Yanowitz (The Wallflowers, Morningwood), and keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen (Blondie) are kicking off their next era with the highly anticipated single – “LET IT GO” – which has quickly become a fan-favorite and a staple in their sold-out live shows. The song is a soaring, synth-heavy escape from reality as the band really encourages listeners to do exactly as it says, LET. IT. GO. The band quickly drew critical acclaim for their much-buzzed-about 2021 debut album, THANKS FOR COMING, featuring stand-out singles “Nevertheless”, “Sideways”, and “Tomorrow’s Screams.” A swirl of the glam, experimental, ambient music of David Bowie, Giorgio Moroder’s ‘70s disco productions for Donna Summer, ‘80s new wave dance music, and contemporary electronic dance acts like Justice, Princess Goes crafts a sound all their own that vividly comes to life on stage during their captivating, hypnotic and passionate live performances (including sold-out US and UK tours) led by the charismatic showmanship and signature voice of frontman Michael C. Hall. The band has been drawing praise from mainstream and tastemakers alike including – Pitchfork | Rolling Stone | Spin | Paper | Consequence – and many more!
