Biography
Jennifer Hanson is a critically acclaimed singer, songwriter & producer. A recording artist for both Capitol Records & Universal South during her extensive musical career, she is an ACM & CMT nominated artist as well as a multi-platinum, award-winning songwriter who's songs have been recorded by Kelly Clarkson, Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Mickey Guyton, Michelle Branch, Vince Gill and Don Williams, to name a few. She wrote the No. 1 singles, "Leave the Pieces" for Grammy-nominated duo The Wreckers and "Let Me Down Easy" for Billy Currington. Hanson also wrote American Idol finalist Bucky Covington's Top 5 hit, "A Different World," as well as "Country Strong," the title track from the Gwyneth Paltrow-Tim McGraw film. Her songs have been featured in dozens of television shows, including American Idol, America’s Got Talent, America's Funniest Home Videos, The Voice, The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Tonight Show, GMA, Duets, The Sing-Off, The Fosters & Switched at Birth, and on major networks ABC, NBC, CW, FOX, CMT, VH1, PBS, Showtime, Freeform, Disney, Netflix and HGTV. Most recently, her work has been featured in Grey's Anatomy, Station 19, The Bold Type, Younger, Songland, Ghosted, Restored By The Fords, My Kitchen Rules & Selling Sunset, as well as in major national ad campaigns for XBOX, Target, Ford, Coors Light & AdventHealth. Hanson's latest release "Here's To Hoping" was named by Rolling Stone as one of the Picks of the Week.
