Biography
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, 21-year-old Jay Loud has been a stand-out talent since an early age. Defined by his ability to hybrid between singing and rapping, he briefly found himself in a local music group, H2H (Hustle 2 Hard), before laying down the stepping stones for his solo career. Inspired by the likes of Jeremih, Prince, Marvin Gaye, and several others, Jay eventually left Naptown to begin a new chapter in his life in Tacoma, a city not too far from musical capital Seattle, Washington. Calling Washington home was not an easy feat for him, as he experienced homelessness and struggled to find a steady place of work. While searching for a job, his now manager Taj King overheard him singing and made the life-changing choice to schedule Jay Loud his first studio sessions. The silver lining is that his struggle inspired him to pour his emotions into writing songs, dreaming of being any place but within the walls of shelter homes. Out of his resilient upbringing was born survival, a hard work ethic that led to a confident artist with all the accompanying strut and swagger, the ability to deliver a heart-stopping ballad that would soon change his life.
