Biography
Aurelia Dey is a afrobeats, dancehall, reggae and Ghanaian/Nordic traditional fusion artist, actor and choreographer. She sheds light on mental health and creates an awareness about diversity and inclusion packaged in a female identity with Ghanaian and Swedish heritage. “Sunday Service” is her latest album and toured concert experience. She lectures on diversity and inclusion from an Afro-Swedish perspective for companies, youths and writes scripts for TV and film and theatre. Live she present therapeutic content in a blissful mix between heavy bass, decisive toasting, energetic dance and spiritual soul singing in a safe and welcoming context. In 2019 she won ”Best Female Act” and ”Best Stage Performer” at the Scandinavian Afrobeats Music Awards. She did her acting debut in ”Woza Albert!” that was set up by the National Black Theatre in Sweden and premiered at Vällingby Stadsteater in December 2019. She also runs ”The Dancehall college” in Gothenburg
