    Hailing from Sunderland, in the North East of England, PICNIC started out cutting their teeth amongst the region's flourishing and competitive underground circuit. Combining pop, funk, indie and jazz enabled the group to find their feet at festival level, while injecting a dose of colour into dingy clubs and earning support slots with the likes of @Fickle Friends and Dave Stewart (@Eurythmics). PICNIC are a band that wears its heart and intentions on its sleeve. Their pop melodies showcase playful yet heartfelt lyricism, while their upbeat guitar-based pop packs enough punch and rhythm to get a packed room bubbling. Back in 2022 with new material and a rejuvenated spirit, the band are ready to bring the energy and enthusiasm they're known for to audiences old and new.
