Boston based Afrobeats singer Y.D.A kicked off his musical journey as a teenager in Lagos Nigeria, modeling his childhood influence ‘Tracy Chapman’ and drawing inspirations from R&B, dancehall, Hip-Hop genre. Y.D.A’s genre is a blend of new generation sounds with elements of unique and soothing Afrobeats as its roots.
