Biography

Josh Barry, a modern virtuoso synonymous with the energy of heroes such as James Brown and Jimi Hendrix. Finding inspiration from some of the greatest souls of the 70's and making his sound completely his own, with no limits. Josh has featured on dance hits with the likes of Gorgon City, Sonny Fodera, The Martinez Brothers & Rudimental. In addition to this Josh recently collaborated and featured alongside Nile Rogers and Wh0 on their song, ‘Better Day’. Josh is currently focusing on his solo releases which he has kicked off in 2021 with his debut EP, ‘Art & Soul’. Accompanied by the underground phenomenon that is the Josh Barry Experience, a concept inspired by Josh’s love of film, where he would perform his EP and teasers of upcoming releases throughout the night at a secret location, filled with special guests, performers paired with visual themes and cocktails inspired by some of Josh’s favourite cult classic films. To whoever was lucky enough to experience one, The Josh Barry Experience was an evening to remember. In addition to these exciting new releases on the way, Josh has been consistently wowing crowds, most notably joining Steven Bartlett’s UK tour of ‘Diary Of A CEO’. Following this, Josh has recently put together a full live 6 piece band. Dubbed ‘Josh Barry & The Broken Hearts’ with whom he has recently performed sold out shows in London with including KOKO private members bar and The Lower Third. He has has also been supporting Rag n Bone Man on his uk tour.
