Biography

Formed in Lafayette, Louisiana in 2019 by Davenport brothers Jackson and Logan, Void is a powerhouse five-piece thrash metal band. After going through many lineup changes in its early stages, the band finally settled on its current lineup in the summer of 2022 and has since been tearing up the Gulf Coast, quickly gaining local and national attention. Void is one of the only young thrash bands emerging from the Louisiana metal scene. After a brief tour in the southern United States in October 2022, they went into the recording studio to make their debut album during the winter of 2022/2023. Void's music can be described as catchy, in-your-face riffs, ripping dueling leads, melodic harmonies, tasteful bass lines, fast and precise drumming, and vocals that will transport you back to 1987. Void's brand new 10-track debut album, "Horrors of Reality," is out now!
