Biography

Chidiya is an independent singer-songwriter and worship artist. Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Chidiya grew up listening to a variety of music from pop to soul and R&B, Afrobeat to classical and gospel. His father’s love for music inspired him from a young age, leading him to sing in choirs and fall in love with harmony, smooth vocals, and varied musical styles. Since 2019, he has released multiple projects including his breakout single “Already Blessed,” a compelling reminder to be grateful on a daily basis which continues to impact thousands. This song was followed by a Remix and Afrobeat Mix later in 2022. In 2023, he re-released the original Already Blessed with award winning artist and song writer, Chris Cleveland (Stars Go Dim). Chidiya’s faith in God is what fuels his music and his heart’s desire is to be a conduit for God to flow through and to empower believers everywhere to live joyful, Spirit-filled lives.
