THE ELEMENT is a Los Angeles based songwriting & production team made up of songwriters, musicians and engineers such as Nikhil Korula (frontman for the Nikhil Korula Band), Dimitri Cerny (Tuff Gong Worldwide) & Brian Vibberts (recording engineer for Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton, Green Day, Elton John, etc), to name a few, these artists collaborate to create pop music by writing, recording and creating production recordings of well crafted, accessible, pop songs. Within months of THE ELEMENT’s inception the songwriting team wrote the opening track, “Start It Up,” for Ziggy Marley’s Grammy Award winning self titled Best Reggae Album. Collaborating with some of the music industry's finest musicians, songwriters, producers and singers such as The Regiment Horns (Justin Timberlake), Greg Phillinganes (keyboardist for Michael Jackson), Brent Paschke (guitarist for Pharrell Williams) and mixing engineers like Darrell Thorp (Radiohead, Beck, etc) and countless other phenomenal talents has elevated this musical collaborative to ascending heights. THE ELEMENT, named for its definition, ‘a cause that contributes to a result,’ is a team collaboration from the inception of a song to the final produced recording.
