Limelght’s music is best described as sublime and hauntingly dark, yet somehow shimmering with light and massive energy. The music and lyrics stir deep emotions bringing to surface our lost loves and greatest moments: an anthem to our lives. Formed in early 2017, Limelght received the ear of Armada Music, a top label within the dance music industry. This kind of recognition, normally reserved for the genre’s seasoned producers, found Limelght entertaining its first release on Armind Recordings, within five short months of formation, an extremely humbling position. Behind the scenes is Nicholas Gunn, a classically trained musician who came from an extensive production background with a high understanding of music writing and composition. Limelght’s music is consistently supported by the industries top players with all of its releases appearing on Beatport’s top Trance tracks. The artist’s track “Don’t Leave Me Now” found itself at #10 on the Beatport Top Trance, and “Canis Major” at #12. 2018 proves to be a busy year for Limelght with new music on multiple labels as well as incredible collaborations, remixes and live events!
