Biography

Boomchild is a music collective based in Sydney. Forming through unconventional means, the group of eclectic artists and creatives met through Instagram and an appreciation of their unique musical tastes. 
 Coming from different regions across NSW, their music is reflective of their hometown environments. With the calm soulful breeze of Wollongong’s coastal beaches mixing with the soothing serenity from The Blue Mountains, and the urban flavour of Sydney’s inner suburbs. Boomchild has created a sound that is truly exciting and refreshing in the Australian music scene. 
 Creating music wherever they can - within their bedrooms, in the studio, on the road, and everything in between, Boomchild is most importantly just a group of best-friends creating music for the pure love and joy that it can give to people. The crew aims to show that music is the greatest healer and brings people from all different areas and of all different ethnicities together.
 Boomchild includes many of Australia’s upcoming talents, compromising of six core members including: rappers and vocalists Charbel and Rico, Finbar on keys, Ben on drums, Riley on bass & James on guitar. Bringing together RnB, electronic, hip hop, soul and funk infused sounds - their debut single “Every Little Thing” was the first taste of music from this unstoppable new collaborative group.
