Biography
Cedarmont Kids is a child-oriented gospel music series created by husband and wife Mike and Sue Gay in the early '90s and released by Benson Records. The mission of Cedarmont Kids is to provide new, family-friendly recordings of classic gospel and children's tunes. Mike and Sue Gay developed the Cedarmont Kids series in 1993 in their hometown of Franklin, Tennessee. The pair initially released six albums, with another six following by 1995. By that time, they had spun Cedarmont Kids into a video series that ended in 2001. Around the turn of the millennium, another wave of seven albums arrived, establishing a deep catalog that would be recycled over the years. Although these recordings would be reissued, new albums would appear on occasion as well. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, Rovi
